This is a standing prayer request.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to bless the believers in Presentacion with means of livelihood. Rikki has left the construction firm he was working for as it takes away a lot of time from the ministry. It's back to home bible studies and evangelism.
We are also praying that the Lord provides a Jeepney or a passenger boat that the believers could use to give them a steady income. Another lady from the chapel is praying for some capital to re-start her tiny store which they closed up when they needed money to bring her son to the hospital after a non-fatal stroke. They are currently with no means of income.
The other source of income are fishing and farming. Please pray that the Dimitita family finds a person who will help them re-start planting their land to help support their family. Also keep in your prayers the Perico family who uses the chapel boat and fishing nets so they can get more fishes to share with the less fortunate members of the assembly.
The chapel is quite done. The meeting hall has a roof over it but there are no walls. This was a welcome situation during the summer months as the wind can freely flow through the meeting area. Unfortunately, durin the rainy months, the wind also pushes the rainwater into the hall. We are praying that the Lord provides the funds to help us construct bamboo walls around the hall to keep the rain out.
Please pray that the Lord provides a simple two speaker amplifier system which the assembly could use when it is raining. It is just fine when the sun is up, the speaker could be heard just fine. The problem is when it rains, the noise drowns the speaker's voice altogether.
Please pray that the Lord guide us in discerning who are really saved or not. Some folks only come to the fellowship to take advantage of our generosity and not really because they desire to worship God with us. We need to see which ones we should turn down when they come for help. We would like to make sure we are good stewards of the Lord's resources.
Please pray for Sonny as he has multiple health problems. Another item to pray for is the Lord's plan regarding their residence. Currently, they are in GMA caring for the assembly there, but the assembly has already grown to a point where there are already working elders and Sonny would probably be better off planting a new assembly. Their current concerns are Lizel's (Sonny's wife) work which is around the GMA area and their daughters school. We are prayiing that the Lord guides them in deciding where to go next. Probably Bicol.
Please pray for resources to procure medicine for Sonny's arthritis, high blood pressure and asthma. It will be a great help for the Bicol assemblies if he could visit them regularly.
Please pray for the Tienzos as Dinna and Dana have moved back to Cavite while Rikki commutes back and forth between Cavite and Bicol. Please pray that the Lord provides an alternative to this current arrangement as travelling is a little exhausting.
Dinna and Dana needs to be in Cavite to care for Dinna's mom and Aunt.
Another possiblity is for the Tienzos to take on the work of planting a church is Dasmarinas Caite. This will be best as they can be near their parents and still spend full time caring for the believers in the area. All we need now is a clear confrmation from the Lord.
Currently, Dinna's Aunt Gertrude's hemoglobin count is 92. the normal count is 120. She lost consciousness twice already this year and her condition is deteriorating. Dinna needs to constantly care for her and Mama Virginia.
If it is the Lord's will that Rikki moves back to Cavite and maybe help plant the church in Dasmarinas (Cavite), then so be it. It will be nice if the Tienzos are always together.
Please pray for Pancho and Teddy who are currently taking care of the assembly whenever Rikki spends the weekend in Cavite. They are doing a great job so far but please pray that the Lord encourages them as these are very young Christians.
