The Tienzo and Ayala families of Justinville Christian Fellowship are from the Bicol Region in the Philippines. Sonny Ayala and Dino Tienzo were born in Camarines Sur, the major district of the province. They eventually comprised the founding members of the assembly in Bacoor, Cavite. Sonny was one of the first commended workers and eventually helped the young assemblies around Cavite.
Since Sonny still had family scattered throughout Bicol, he endeavored to share the gospel to them. The result were the assemblies in Oras, Presentacion and Rapu-rapu, but one missionary cannot effectively care for four assemblies (including Sonny's home church in GMA, Cavite). Eventually, the Lord spoke to Rikki Tienzo to help care for Presentacion and went to full time work in November of 2008. With Sonny regularly visiting the assemblies in Bicol while still based in GMA Cavite and Rikki working full time in Presentacion, The ministry in Camarines Sur continued.
Presentacion is a lovely coastal town deep in the eastern side of Bicol. It faces Lagonoy Gulf and right across the sea is the majestic Mayon Volcano. In the west side are green hills and mountains cradling a 4 block wide town. The mountains are unfortunately populated by communist insurgents. Nevertheless, the view is breathtaking. The town is a rural town that thrives on fishing and farming, but because of bad government and culture, the majority of the population are dirt poor.
Rikki, Dinna and Dana Tienzo moved here and are now enjoying the fellowship of a handful of believers while seeking to share the gospel to as many people as possible.
This is just the beginning. The harvest is definitely plenty and the workers are few.
